Custom Domain Setup on Blogger with Godaddy.com 2014

Custom domain setup in Blogger.com is used to crte your own blog URL. (for example: from myblog.blogspot.com to myblog.com).

When you purchase a domain from Godaddy.com, they assign an IP address (A record and CNAME record) for the domain. Hence, you need to change those records to point to your Blogger.com blog. This post can help you to change the A and CNAME records of your Godaddy Account.

Follow the steps given below:


Login to your Blogger Account and Click on The Setting . Then Click on Basic.
Now Your Basic Setting Page will Open
Now Click on " Set up a Third Party URL For your Blog "Link


Now Enter Your Domian Name as in " www.Trickko.com "and Click Save Button
Note :Keeping in mind that it must begin with www in order to work


Now You Should see an error, and two CNAMEs listed below. ch CNAME is composed of two parts - Name, Label or Host and Destination, Target or Points to. The first CNAME is the same for everyone, Name being "www" and Destination "ghs.google.com" The second CNAME is Particular to your blog and your Google Account, and is Therefore Different for ch Person




Now Copy That CNAME's and go to Your Godaddy Account and Click on Domain Launch Button


Now you see you allDomainsClick on ThatDomainyou Want toCustomizedit to YourBlog



Click "DNS Zone File " TAB



Click " Add Record " Button



Now" Add Record Zone "Popup is Open Select Your Record Type" CNAME "
Now Add Your BothCNAMEin"Host "and"Points to " One By One



Click" Finish "and Then Click" Save Changes "

You are Done With Your Godaddy Account
NowGoBackTo YourBlogger Accountand again Click on"Save"Button


Congratulations Now You areSuccessfully Setup Your Custom Domain





Note : That’s it! Your blogspot.com address will soon Redirect to your new Custom Domain -- be patient, as it might take up to 24 hours for the redirect to start working.
