It is the third instalment in the popularDriverseriesand was developed byReflections Interactivnd published byAtari.Driver 3was relsed in North America for thePlayStation 2andXboxon 21 June 2004. In Europe, it was officially relsed on 25 June, although due to the way Atari shipped the title across the continent, it made its way into independentUKretailers before the relse date, even making a #6 position in theELSPAchart for that week. On 15 March 2005, it was relsed onPCfor US customers, it was also relsed onGame Boy Advance25 October 2005. At one point aNintendo GameCubeversion and anN-Gageversion were planned, but both were cancelled.
